Nurture One will provide an on site education package that that will be developed between the onsite Teacher and our Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, along with input from each young person’s Includem worker and the residential team. This joined up approach will allow us to develop a plan that is appropriate and relevant to each of our young people.
The environment, routines and strategies we aim to develop, reflects what works best for each of our individual young people. Our care and education package will incorporate the guidance of GIRFEC. GIRFEC is the national approach in Scotland to improving outcomes and supporting the wellbeing of our children and young people.
Getting it right for every child (GIRFEC) supports families by making sure children and young people can receive the right help, at the right time, from the right people. The aim is to help them to grow up feeling loved, safe and respected so that they can realise their full potential.
